Stainless Steel

  • Mix warm water + a drop of dish soap.
  • Soak jewellery 5–10 mins
  • Gently scrub with soft brush/cloth.
  • Rinse, dry, and polish with microfiber cloth.

18k Plated

  • Dip a soft cloth in warm water + tiny bit of mild soap.
  • Gently wipe jewellery (no soaking).
  • Rinse quickly with clean water.
  • Pat dry with a soft cloth
  • Store separately to avoid scratches/fading.

Costume Jewellery

  • Wipe gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
  • Dry straight away with a clean cloth.
  • Store in a dry place (zip bag or box) to prevent tarnish.
  • Don’t soak, scrub, or use cleaners — they can strip the finish.

Crystals

  • Wipe gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
  • Dry with a clean, soft cloth.
  • Avoid soaking (water can loosen settings or damage softer crystals).
  • Keep away from harsh cleaners, perfumes, and lotions.
  • For sparkle: buff lightly with a microfiber cloth.

Raw Stones & Semi-Precious

  • Wipe gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
  • Dry immediately with a clean cloth.
  • Avoid soaking, heat, or chemicals (many stones are porous and delicate)
  • Store separately to prevent scratching.
  • Some stones (like amethyst, rose quartz, turquoise) can fade in sunlight — best kept in a box or pouch.

Pearls

  • What are pearls?
Pearls are natural gemstones formed inside oysters or mussels when layers of nacre build up around an irritant.
  • Most pearls used in jewellery today are cultured pearls, meaning they are grown naturally with human assistance. Fully natural pearls are extremely rare.
  • Freshwater pearls are known for their soft lustre, organic character, and wide variety of shapes. Saltwater pearls typically have a brighter shine and more uniform shape.
  • Baroque pearls are irregular and unique in form, making each piece one of a kind.
  • Pearls are softer than other gemstones and should be handled with care.
  • They tolerate light moisture but should not be worn while swimming, showering, or bathing.
  • Pearls should be stored separately in a soft pouch to prevent scratching.
  • To maintain their lustre, pearls should be wiped gently with a soft, damp cloth after wear and kept away from chemicals, perfumes, and cleaning products.
  • Pearls remain timeless and versatile, worn today in both classic and modern, everyday styles.
